National environment Awareness Campaign
National Environmental Awareness Program is being carried out with the support of C.P.Ramaswamy Aiyar foundation, Chennai every year under Department of Environment and Forest, Government of India.
During this year, we have carried out biodiversity conservation awareness rally at Konnaiyar by students of Elachipalayam Government Higher Secondary School. During the campaign students raised slogans about tree plantation and other biodiversity conservation measures .Handbills and IEC materials were distributed to the general public. 250 students and teachers participated in the rally.
